According to a media statement, the HOOLI token is structured as a participation layer across the broader My Pet Hooligan ecosystem. The studio reported that the token will offer holders early access to future games, animated content, AI-driven character integrations, and upcoming expansions into film, merchandise, and music.

Company officials stated that the token is not required to access or play the franchise’s games, nor does it serve as standard in-game currency. The announcement comes as My Pet Hooligan reports more than 600,000 downloads on the Epic Games Store and expands its audience across social media platforms.

The 30-episode short-form animated series used to introduce the token has been distributed across X, Tiktok, Youtube, and Instagram. The show features a satirical storyline inspired by online communities and cryptocurrency culture. AMGI Studios utilized a hybrid production model for the series, combining motion capture, traditional animation, live-action elements, and artificial intelligence-assisted tools.

The workflow allowed the studio to bypass traditional animation timelines and alter the storyline in response to real-time audience feedback and shifting market trends. By aligning the token generation event and the May 18 airdrop with the series finale, developers said they aim to bridge narrative milestones with broader ecosystem engagement, establishing a new framework for introducing digital assets within the entertainment industry.
