Best MacBook deal: As of July 9, get an M2 MacBook Air for $699 at Best Buy

-

SAVE $100: As of July 9, get the Apple MacBook Air, 13-inch (M2, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) for $699, down from its usual price of $799. That’s $100 off and a discount of 12%.

Prime Day is officially on, and the second day of the big Amazon shopping event brings us deals beyond the realm of the retail chain. If you’re thinking about snagging a great deal elsewhere, you might want to turn to Best Buy, where you can get your hands on a significantly discounted M2 MacBook Air at this very moment. Thanks to the retailer’s Black Friday in July sale, there are tons of goodies you can score for low prices beyond what Amazon has in stock.

As of July 9, get the Apple MacBook Air, 13-inch (M2, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) for $699, down from its usual price of $799. That’s $100 off and a discount of 12%.

This M2 MacBook Air is an older model, of course, but it’s a great buy. Walmart just began selling the older M1 model for $699 just last spring, so you’re getting a newer, more powerful version of Apple’s slimline laptop with this deal right now. In general, the Air is the lightest, most portable option of the bunch, though it can still keep up with the big dogs in terms of performance.

This particular configuration comes with an M2 processor under the hood as well as 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD so you can keep all your important files and documents without needing external storage. Currently, this price only applies to the Midnight and Starlight colorways, so you’ll have to settle for one of those hues if you want to snag this deal.

Mashable Deals

It’s a good time to go ahead and commit, however. Even the most lightweight MacBook Air is capable of handling multiple tasks at once, and for $100 off, it’s well worth investing. Just make sure to do so before it sells out.
