On 18 March 2025, Binance crypto exchange announced the launch of Binance Alpha 2.0, a next-level decentralized crypto trading platform in Binance wallet app.
With Binance Alpha 2.0, all Binance users will be able to trade the Decentralized Exchange (DEX) tokens available on Binance Alpha directly in the form of a spot market.
In simple words, this service was already available but Binance users were required to switch from Binance exchange’s interface to Binance Wallet to access Binance Alpha to trade the DEX tokens. So with the new update, Binance users will trade a very big range of crypto assets seamlessly without any headache of multiple complicated steps.
Binance co-founder CZ said that Binance Alpha 2.0 is really a very impressive development within the Binance app ecosystem and probably similar services will be provided by other crypto exchanges in the near future. CZ stated that, ultimately, it will push the adoption as well as crypto trade volume in the Defi crypto space.
