-

  • Brad Garlinghouse’s $50M investment in crypto education aims to improve public understanding and adoption of digital assets.
  • The initiative aligns with increasing U.S. government attention on cryptocurrency, further validating the sector’s importance.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has announced a $50 million grant to support the newly established National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA), aiming to enhance cryptocurrency literacy and promote safe adoption across the United States.

Following a statement shared by CNF back in 2019, which emphasized that education about blockchain must be supported worldwide, this vision is now becoming a tangible reality.

In a statement shared on his personal X account, Garlinghouse emphasized the mainstream adoption of crypto and the need for accessible education. He stated:

Over the last few years, crypto has catapulted to the mainstream. Today, 55 million Americans hold and use crypto, and many more are curious – where, when, and how can I use this tech in my life? The National Cryptocurrency Association – a chain-agnostic, non-political, non-profit – is here to help by educating and raising awareness of all the utility that crypto technologies are bringing to real people, every day.

Garlinghouse highlighted that 55 million Americans actively engage with crypto, while many others seek greater understanding of its utility. The NCA will function as an independent, unbiased educational platform, ensuring clear and objective information about digital assets and their role in modern finance.

Survey Reveals Strong Interest in Crypto Education

A recent NCA survey of 10,000 U.S. crypto holders found that 81% of respondents want more information about the future of cryptocurrency.

Notably, one in five American adults currently use cryptocurrency, with 76% of these users reporting positive impacts on their lives, citing benefits such as financial independence and involvement in an innovative sector.

The launch of the NCA coincides with rising U.S. government attention on cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick recently confirmed that President Donald Trump plans to introduce a Bitcoin reserve strategy, signaling greater regulatory discussions and crypto adoption in the U.S..

XRP’s Price Performance Amid Crypto Education Initiatives

XRP’s price movement reflects a broader wave of optimism in the cryptocurrency market, driven by key developments within Ripple and growing institutional and governmental interest in digital assets.

Ripple’s recent $50 million commitment to crypto education through the National Cryptocurrency Association has reinforced confidence in XRP’s long-term utility, signaling increased adoption and awareness.

At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $2.53, reflecting a 3.60% increase in the past 24 hours and a 15.62% gain in the past week. See XRP Price chart below.
