Roger Ver is a well-known early Bitcoin promoter. Because of his bullish support for Bitcoin, he was known as Bitcoin Jesus, but unfortunately, he lost all respect among the Bitcoin leaders when allegedly he paid money to the majority of the Bitcoin miners to support forced Bitcoin fork to launch the Bitcoin alternative Blockchain network Bitcoin Cash ($BCH). People call Roger a type of CEO of Bitcoin Cash ($BCH).
In 2014, Roger Ver decided to give up his U.S. citizenship after becoming a citizen of Saint Kitts and Nevis. He took this step because he strongly believed in libertarian ideas (favouring personal freedom and limited government) and disagreed with U.S. tax laws, especially the “exit tax.”
In April 2024, this Bitcoin Cash CEO was accused of not paying exit tax, which led to legal charges for tax evasion. US authorities accused Ver of owing $48 million in taxes, allegedly stemming from his expatriation process.

According to Ver, he faced huge political pressure in the US 10 years ago because he was supporting free speech & Bitcoin.
Roger also added that he believes that he will get support from the US president because he may play the role of saviour for him against the injustice faced by him.
Response tweets by the majority of the Crypto X users showed that Roger was getting huge support.

Just a week ago, Donald Trump signed a full unconditional pardon for Silk Road creator Ross Ulbricht.
Following that development, many people started talking about Roger Ver to save him from 109 years of jail sentence. Ver also successfully secured the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Musk said that he would look into this matter to help, but reportedly, he stepped back because Roger renounced his US citizenship.
