Eyeing to expand web3 gaming, Kusho World, a community-driven web3 protocol blending gaming, anime, and blockchain culture, announced its integration with the blockchain infrastructure of Sovrun, which was formerly known as BreederDAO and is currently developing a next-generation L2 blockchain focused on autonomous worlds and AI-driven gaming.
In a media release, the entities involved shared that the partnership is seen to enhance gaming experiences and create new opportunities for non-fungible token (NFT) holders.
Integration of Kusho Guardians
The flagship feature of the collaboration is that it will bring Kusho Guardians, the winner of the YGG Play Summit 2024 Game Jam, into Sovrun’s tech stack.
Technically, the game will leverage Sovrun’s modular blockchain infrastructure, including ReadyGamer, to enhance on-chain gameplay and economy design.
The goal of the integration is to create a self-sustaining game economy where players actively shape their experience, the media release highlighted.

In November, Kusho Guardians won the Professional Track at the YGG Play Summit Game Jam, earning a ₱220,000 grand prize and a special award for Building on Base.
Kusho Guardians is a web3 game by Kusho World featuring AI-powered creatures, on-chain inventory, and resource management gameplay, built in two weeks.
NFT and Gaming Expansion
According to the press release, Kusho and Sovrun will work together on educational programs, hackathons, and community initiatives to promote on-chain gaming and empower both players and creators.
Kusho’s next move is that its Genesis profile picture NFT collection will transition to Sovrun. Details on the migration process and feature rollouts will be shared progressively. Meanwhile, Arkada, its upcoming arcade and gaming hub, will integrate with Sovrun’s network.
